A Community United Against Cancer and Domestic Violence
In a powerful display of unity and purpose, the 22nd Annual MK5K® fundraising event brought together over 2,300 participants to support the Mary Kay Ash Foundation®. This year’s event, held both virtually and in-person, successfully raised more than $234,000, contributing directly to vital cancer research and resources for individuals affected by domestic violence. Every step taken counted towards building a brighter future for many in need.
The Spirit of Togetherness
The sense of community was palpable as participants formed 336 teams, demonstrating a collaborative spirit that resonated deep within the crowd. Among those were 1,813 Independent Beauty Consultants and 224 employees who participated, alongside 130 volunteers who helped orchestrate the event. The enthusiastic turnout, even in the face of uncooperative weather, highlights the commitment of individuals coming together for a noble cause, showcasing community strength over challenges.
